Optimist Club of St Louis – Optimistic about St. Louis youth for over 106 years.

2022-11-07 – Optimist Club of St Louis, by providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves announced their new Fall 2022 community grants to benefit the youth in the community of St. Louis, MO.

Optimist Club of St Louis welcomes applications for fall 2022 community grant funding from St. Louis area not-for-profit organizations and Optimist Clubs within the EMO (East Missouri Optimist) District (Zones 7, 9, and 10) which work to benefit the youth in the areas of education and health care.

The Fall 2022 Grant’s primary purpose is to help the youth in the community. The Optimist Club of St. Louis is devoted to “Bringing out the Best in Youth” in the St. Louis community.

These funds can help support and benefit local nonprofits that are working to benefit the youth in the areas of education and health care.

Jennifer Bagwell, The Optimist Club of St Louis’ President, said: “Every day is an opportunity to work together with your neighbors and friends in St. Louis to help the youth of our community. The Optimist Club of St. Louis invites you to share your vision for bringing positive change to the youth through our Fall 2022 Community Grant funding opportunity.

Through this program, we hope to provide a variety of funding opportunities for nonprofits working towards positive change in the youth of the community. This year we have included additional funding to applicants that promote collaboration between each other’s nonprofit organizations. There is also funding towards developing our new Junior Optimist International JOI youth program initiative to support programs geared towards youth education development and health care.”

The Optimist Club of St. Louis begins in 1916 and has been supporting local youth in the city of St. Louis for over 106 years through programs and service projects that the Club is involved in, in addition to awarding annual community grants all in the name of Optimism.
