The holiday season was extra special this year at City Academy as Santa and his merry band of helpers from the Optimist Club of St. Louis visited to spread cheer and bring joy to the youth. Dressed up in festive elf costumes, the volunteers were a welcome sight at City Academy. They took photos with each of the students to give them a keepsake for the holidays.

The Optimist Club of St. Louis volunteered their time and energy to bring joy to the youth of City Academy. The Optimist Club of St. Louis, is an organization that strives to “Bring Out the Best in Youth”. The Club encourages an upbeat attitude and a commitment to community service. This holiday season Club Members volunteered to spread Christmas cheer by visiting City Academy with a special surprise.

Club members dressed up as elves and Santa Clause, bringing the spirit of Christmas to life for the children of City Academy. They graciously offered to take photos of each child with Santa and City Academy Volunteers. Every child got a keepsake photo to take home. It was a wonderful experience for all involved and truly embodies the giving spirit of the holiday season.
