The Optimist Club of St. Louis would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to everyone who attended the recent check presentation grant event.
We are thrilled to announce that this year, thanks to the generosity of our foundation, we have decided to grant funds to 18 community organizations, totaling $131,500 to benefit the youth and community. As an Optimist International Club we have been supporting the community and youth for over 106 years.
Optimist Club of St. Louis President Jennifer Bagwell, expressed,
“For more than a century, the Optimist Club of St. Louis has been enriching the community and working to benefit local youth organizations and programs, even predating the construction of the iconic St. Louis Arch. In recognition of their extraordinary service, the Mayor of St. Louis bestowed upon them the Optimist Day Proclamation this year. In that spirit of generosity and dedication, the Club is delighted to award 18 community grants as we continue our community support.”
We are proud to continue our tradition of generosity and dedication to our community, and we look forward to supporting more organizations in the future. Thank you again for your support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of our community’s youth.
We want to also thank our foundation. The Youth Work Fund and our board for allowing us to provide these grants each year.
