The Optimist Club of St Louis recently presented Boys Hope Girls Hope of St Louis with a $2,500 grant check at their new location in Richmond Heights, St Louis, Missouri. This grant will benefit young men and women in the St. Louis area. Their mission is to nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others.
The Boys Hope Girls Hope of St Louis helps youth in need through a variety of programs:
Residential
Their Residential program functions as a loving and nurturing family atmosphere, a dynamic environment with a sense of belonging, central to healthy adolescent development.
Academy
The same academic, psychological, financial and spiritual support as scholars in their residential program, offered to scholars whose need does not require residential placement.
Collegian
They not only prepare college aspirants for all aspects and challenges of the college experience, but continue to provide academic, social, emotional and financial support through college graduation.
You can find out more about their programs on their website: https://boyshopegirlshopestl.org/programs/
