Youth Art Contest

The topic this year is Bringing Out the Best.

• Artist must be age eleven or lower as of October 1, 2024.
• There are two age divisions: up to 7 years of age and 8-11 years of age. Art for six notecards will be selected from each age division.
• Artwork must be created on 11″ wide x 8.5″ high paper or construction paper.
• The art work can be emailed to optimistmo@gmail.com no later than Feb 12th, 2025
• Winners will be announced on our social and an email will be sent out, The winners will be invited to the March Club meeting to be presented with their prizes.
• Winners will also go on to be entered in the National Optimist International Visual Arts Competition – Voting will be done March 15-30, 2025.
• There will be a monetary award for 13 OI winners.
• The winners art will be used by Optimist International in the creation of twelve note cards and envelopes with the 1st place prize art going on the cover. At the International level, the 12 winners will receive a $150 monetary award; the winner of the cover will receive an additional $100 monetary award.
• The notecards will be available for sale as early as June 30, 2025 at the international convention in St. Louis, MO, Jun 30-July 3, 2025.
